Treating the city of Miami as a platform, Fringe Projects are site-determined temporary public artworks that integrate, investigate, and interrogate Downtown Miami's less conventional spaces. Now in its fourth year, Fringe Projects has commissioned artists in a wide range of practices including interventions, performance-based works, and situations.
Presented in conjunction with DWNTWN Art Days throughout downtown Miami
Support for Fringe Projects is provided by Cannonball through its WaveMaker Grants program, which is part of the Andy Warhol Foundations’s Regional Regranting Program. WaveMaker Grants is supported by the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, and the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs.
