LegalLink Internship 

LegalLink is seeking outgoing and motivated candidates who have an interest in the arts to fill two internship positions for the Fall 2015 semester.

LegalLink interns work under the direct supervision of the LegalLink Coordinator. Duties include assisting the Coordinator with: interviewing potential clients and evaluating clients’ needs; performing substantive legal research and drafting memoranda; conducting case management to facilitate resolution of cases; assisting LegalLink Coordinator in the administration of the LegalLink program; meeting weekly with LegalLink’s external supervising attorney; creating blog entries for Cannonball’s website on topics of the intern’s choice; planning and attending LegalLink workshops; and assisting with Cannonball events.

Qualifications:

Rising second- or third-year law student at an ABA accredited law school
Excellent research and writing skills
Demonstrated interest or knowledge in the arts and art-related legal fields
Available 10-15 hours per week for 12 weeks, beginning between August 25-September 2

Cannonball Internship

Cannonball is currently seeking some scrappy grad students for what is quite possibly Miami’s most adventurous internship. Cannonball will work with your institution if you’re seeking college credit. Our interns are hands-on with most of the organization’s initiatives, frequently working with local and national contemporary artists-in-residence, assisting faculty during workshops and seminars, and attending fancy and not-so-fancy events. Here are some of the qualifications we’re looking for:

Academic concentration/interest in contemporary art
Marketing skills and a passion for organizing special events
Good written and oral communication skills
Weekend availability
Capacity to multi-task with a smile
