A native Floridian, Felecia Carlisle maintains a multidisciplinary studio art practice, incorporating video, photography, sculpture, and performance in order to investigate the complex relationship between real and virtual space. Her work has been exhibited in numerous national and international galleries, museums, and public spaces, including a recent solo exhibition at Dorsch Gallery, Miami, and group shows at the University of South Florida Contemporary Art Museum, Tampa; Miami Art Museum; Dimensions Variable, Miami; and Sixth Street Container, Miami. Her work is also part of the Martin Z. Margulies Collection in Miami. Carlisle received an MFA from the New Genres Department at the San Francisco Art Institute.
